Artist's Comments
This was my final peice for my exam, its a really huge self portrait. It was influenced by Lucian Freuds paintings of Leigh Bowery except I used more bold bright colours rather than neutral. I put leigh bowery style make up on my face with my Boy George type hat on to exenuate that I was being someone that wasnt myself. I was also influenced by Barthemy Tuguo when I let the paint run. The angle of the photograph doesn't do the painting justice, but it is my favourite peice of artwork.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
